RIP Horace

Horace Silver was one of my all-time favorite jazz musicians. I saw perform several times, but the one I remember most was many years ago at the original Birdland, the famous jazz club located on Broadway and 52nd Street in New York City… a couple of sets I will always remember.

Horace Silver died yesterday at the age of 85.
