This Friday flower blip is about the best shot I managed to coax out of the FZ72 before we parted company earlier this week.

I had a minor panic this morning when I thought the SX50 had developed a fault, but then I worked out I had accidentally set a custom white balance. That rotary control is annoyingly fiddly - are the Canon DSLRs as bad as this ergonomically? What I'd like to be doing this weekend is taking the SX50 out to chase dragonflies. What I'm actually going to be doing is driving up and down motorways most of the time as the brood and their washing return from higher education.
