Life in Newburgh on Ythan

A rose for Saint Bernadette

I was up at 5 this morning to catch the flight from Bristol back to Aberdeen. To say that I am tired would be an understatement and so I have nothing to offer today apart from a rose in the garden, but it is a very pretty rose!

The rose, variety Bernadette, was given to us by friends, our daughter being called Bernadette. The rose is, of course, named for St Bernadette of Lourdes.

I have back-blipped yesterday's photograph taken on my short visit to the southern regions of the nation. It too has an association with the Church and young girls.
