It's a scientific art!

Bet you didn't know that building scalextric was soooo complicated. We now have so many weird and wonderful shapes Ian had to resort to the tape measure to make sure it would all fit together.

The Friday evening ritual has become, get home and build a track! It then stays put until Sunday bedtime when we pack it all away again. It fills most of the living room floor! If only we had a spare room we could leave it out and save the effort. Never mind, Ian gets to do his Krypton Factor brain work out each week :)
