The Parramatta River at Rhodes

Not sure why this suburb of Canada Bay is called Rhodes. An earlier resident from that Greek island? I'd never been here before, but the Nikon service centre has moved here, so here I came with my ailing D7000, and I won't even get a quote on the repairs for 10 working days or so. After that a similar time waiting for repairs. A horribly long time for us to be apart.

So shooting with the iPhone yesterday, and I was lucky to witness this light coming from the sky just before the clouds let go the rain.
