Earth & Fire at Rufford

Doug Fitch with his stand at Rufford this afternoon. Friends of ours are among his biggest fans and Jan asked if I'd take his photo. He's a very talented potter who produces very traditional English slipware ... and he's got a very infectious smile. My own first ceramic pot was bought from Tony Laverick, who also posed for his photo - but he was a little like me, happier behind the camera than posing for a photo - his work is stunning.
