Centre Point, London

This building is Grade II listed, believe it or not.

Commissioned by Harry Hyams and designed by Richard Seifert. It was finished in 1966 and has 33 floors.

It was empty for many years and rumours were that it was used by MI5, as were the Post Office Tower and Euston Tower.

Tenants now include the mighty entertainment agency William Morris and electronic gaming giant EA Games. There are two private members clubs in the building - Paramount on the top floors and APT58 in the middle.

The ground level parts of Centre Point were always grey and uninviting. They are now being significantly changed as part of the rebuilding of Tottenham Court Road station to become a major Crossrail station.
