Missing You Already

I've heard a lot of people whingeing complaining vociferously about having had enough of all this snow. Not me though.

I can appreciate that for many it may have been a helluvatime and caused no end of problems, but for the past month the landscape around here had taken on a unique and often breathtaking perspective. But last night the rain came back and washed all this away. And now we're back to our unexceptionally bland and dreich standard. The temperature's up, the clouds are down and the colour's off.

This image shows the same scene a week (and a world) apart, with the Ochil Hills melting meekly into the clouds today as opposed to standing proud and bathed in a glorious orange glow as they were last Friday.

Ah well, at least it is Friday. Have a good one folks.
