Another Foundling

Charmaine reared two the past few weeks, they were about the same age, but the other one is a larger type of pigeon, and while I still meant to blip them, the bigger one managed to escape yesterday and flew off into the world! We decided that they might both be old enough to be released into nature, but this little one seems to have difficulty flying! Charmaine decided to keep him a little longer!

Update on Jurie

I visited him yesterday afternoon, with Ronnie and Anrie! Ansa and Jurie are nicely settled into a lovely Guesthouse in Erasmuskloof in Pretoria and he really looks so good! I can't believe this man's courage and positivity! Wowzer, he had major cardiac surgery on Monday and Friday he is not only out of ICU, but out of Hospital! The massive wounds on both legs as well as the breast bone are of course still very sore, and he sat on the couch, please note, not in bed, you could see how tired he was after we were there for almost an hour, but he is very positive and a strong person! God bless Jurie, we are still praying for your total and fast recovery!
