Retail Therapy

We had a nice night with Alan's mum and dad last night, and I called to see Rachel and Scarlett this morning before heading home. It's been a beautiful day and such a shame to have to spend 5 hours in the car, but Alan suggested we stop off at Bicester Village which is a designer shopping outlet.

It's about half way on our journey so a perfect stopping off point and we thought with it being a hot sunny day it might be relatively quiet, but it was so busy - they were having to use an overflow car park with a shuttle bus. We were amazed at how many coaches were there - obviously day trips, and the outlet itself runs a daily bus service from London. Anyway, we were lucky and managed to find a parking space actually at the village and we had a good hour there looking in our favourite shops. It was my only blip opportunity today, and here you can see Alan carrying his bag full of Tommy Hilfiger purchases - looking at the expressoin on his face, he must have been pondering where to go next lol!

It's an amazing place with outlets stores from Gucci, Prada, Michael Kors and Pandora to name a few. I didn't buy much, just a skirt from Hobbs, and a new phone case from Tommy Hilfiger, but we'll certainly be going back when it comes to Christmas shopping.

Anyway, we're home, unpacked and the washing machine is on, and we're now going to go and pick up an Indian takeaway. Thanks for all your comments while we've been away, I'll try and catch up with you later.
