Dinner fit for a champion

OB prepared this lovely dinner for me tonight, before we went off to the Abergavenny Eisteddfod Gala. I'd been told that I'd "been placed" in the short story competition. I actually came third, but the first prize was taken by a writer I respect, so I was happy about that! And I won £10. I'll have to be careful for to spend it all at once, or then again, perhaps I'll treat us to a good bottle of wine...

The MC tonight reminded us that it was 51 years ago tomorrow that The Beatles played in Abergavenny, in the Theatre where we were. That would have been an evening to remember.
