Time to eat!

My photographic skills are amateur, but I was thrilled when I actually caught this shot today. It is an adult barn swallow feeding a baby swallow. I have been photographing the babies for the last two days, and watching the adults swing by to give them some food, but was not fast enough on the "trigger" to catch them in the act. So although this isn't as sharp as it might be, you definitely get the "picture". Now my next challenge is to get a shot of the mother sitting on the nest in our shed - she seems to hear me coming and flies away whenever I get close. I may have to camp out in the shed!

Beautiful sunny day. Mr M and I are off to the movies tonight to see Jersey Boys.
