On the Sunday walks J is invariable in the lead - but luckily for us stops occasionally so we can catch him up.

Watched the barge going through the swing bridge on the Leeds Liverpool Canal - at Silsden - whilst talking to the owners who had been on the waterways since March - starting out from Oxford.

More conversation this afternoon - Wilsden Band were playing at Oxenhope Station - I rattled the collection bucket. In between steam train arrivals and departures - met with aireknitter - MidgeholeDave and Chrysanthemam

About to go for beer and curry - a good ending to socialable day
