I used to think that the day would never come

Well here we finally in Le Lavandou.
Just needed some true faith to help us get here.

Left our delightful hotel/b&b this morning. If anyone is looking for somewhere to stay in Provence, could not recommend it highly enough. Beautiful room and grounds, close to Roussillon and owners who could not do enough for you.

Visited a few more villages, there are so many! Including Lacoste, home to the Marquis de Sade, a rather colourful character.

Then hit the autoroute for a couple more hours and here we are in St Clair, just along from Le Levandou. Hotel is right by the sea, pieds dans l'eau as the french expression has it. Sitting on the balcony, with a glass of rose, listening to the waves. Thinhs could be worse.
