Gold Leaf Docks

Dropped round after doing a creative writing workshop for a Dublin law firm. The evening sun on the side of this huge bulk cargo ship was somehow marvelous. A few guys working nearby called up the deckhands (one of whom is standing there) to ask if I could come on board. I was invited up the steep gangplank, signed the visitor's book, and met the captain, a relaxed looking guy in a t-shirt sitting in a chair. My guide was a really nice Filipino bloke, called Daryl.
