And through the round window...

We went to a wonderful sculpture exhibition today. All the sculptures were made of stone and this was one of them.. called Stone Overlap.

In the foreground you can see the swimming pool.. it is a natural pool so there are reeds and plants at the side and the centre is kept clear for swimming. No chlorine.. just lovely and very tempting on this hot mid summers day.

We were so hot that we stopped in the pop up cafe to have a drink having seen all the sculptures and were delighted to find some home made lemonade so when I came home I made some 'like my mumma used to make' in the Kenwood!!
It reminds me of long hot summers days with friends playing tennis. So easy to make if you want to give it a go

2 unwaxed lemons
140gms sugar
500ml water
4 ice cubes

Put all that into a blender and whizz till all the bits are very small.. sieve and then serve over more ice.. you will be refreshed and ready for whatever comes your way!!

Might have to have a second glassful.. it is waiting in the fridge!!

For those of you wanting to know more about the exhibition you can find the link here
