Weather For Camping!

Set up camp in our back yard today as the forecast was clear, hot 'n' sunny. Made the wise move by starting at 8:30am! All in good working order. Managed to lower the volume/weight of the camping load by subtracting many items we won't be using in August. Still need a few bits 'n' pieces though.
We had lunch (bacon butties) in the tent, which was followed by loom band bracelet making, lying down on our airbeds!
Then the tent came down & packed away, with a little hand from Tuttle Jnr.

Tuttle Jnr tested his Balsa wood glider later: it worked as he "skillfully" threw it over our neighbour's 9ft wall! After retrieving it with some ladder work (neighbours were out at the time) we headed to the local field with his mate P. We managed to get some good flight distances after some small tweeks to the wing positioning ready for gluing permenantly. :-D

Another swim for Tuttle Jnr and a late bedtime as homework was conveniently forgotten!
