No Mug

I did a dawn raid this morning - lots to see including a Stoat raiding a Mistle Thrush's nest, a Sparrowhawk being harangued by Lapwings, Snipe drumming, Meadow Pipits finding their way in the world, Whitethroat feeding their young, Wrens and Brown Hares, but Mr PB had the casting vote - one of the birds that is special for him, the Snipe (as featured on his favourite mug). He is very good at picking them out in their hard-to-spot locations , whereas this one was in plain view.
