Longhaven Cliffs

I walked from the Bullers of Buchan almost to Boddam today . It was a veritable feast of wildlife: guillemots, shags,cormorants, fulmars, kittiwakes herring gulls black backed gulls and to top it all a fair number of puffins.I also got to watch two peregrine falcons have a dogfight at close quarters. The seals lying on the rocks er grey seals , while last week I had to put up with the noise of a huge colony of harbour seals. The weather just held up ; warm with an occasional light drizzle until I reached the car.
