A field of poppies

This afternoon we went for a lovely walk in Glyn Ceiriog. We saw redstarts and a young dipper on the river and beautiful sunny weather as a bonus.

There was a photo of this poppy field in Glyn Ceiriog in the local paper so we went to have a look. There was a sign saying that no-one was allowed in the field as people had been trampling the crops and leaving the gate open. What a shame that a few inconsiderate people have spoilt it for the majority. I can quite understand that the farmer wouldn't want lots of people traipsing all over the place though.
