Bus Stop Ame

Well went into town with Amethyst to pick up a few items of shopping as well as supposedly meeting up with my eldest daughter. Of course after waiting round for quarter of an hour, a text arrived saying that it doesn't matter and that she was off with her cousin and a friend. To say that both myself and Amethyst were disappointed is an understatement - the fact that I rarely see her at the best of times for some reason means very little to her. Imagine how an eight year old takes the news that she isn't important enough for her half sister...

Anyway, apart from not really being in a mood to look out for a blip, the only opportunity arose when Amethyst was sitting waiting for a bus, dejected and feeling rather sorry for herself (we had just missed the X47 and the next wasn't for another ten minutes - wow the wait would kill her!). Unfortunately for me, I had a flash forward eight years and am extremely worried!

Please Amethyst, don't grow up!
