Large Yellow Underwing Moth

Had to backblip yesterday's A tree .... fungus ..... & bokeh do hope you will have a look :-)

I had to wave goodbye to my little bridge camera today ...... it is accompanying Youngest Son on holiday! It will be travelling all the way to Greece! Do hope it doesn't get airsick! Hopefully it will return ..... eventually!

Saw this moth on the fence today ..... at first I thought it was a Silver Y ..... but looking at it now I don't think it is ...... in fact I have no idea what type it is! Do hope one of you clever Blippers can tell me :-)

Update: Thanks to Chamaeleo ....... it is a Large Yellow Underwing!!!
