Mono Monday

I've seen a few Mono Mondays around and I think the theme for this week is Still Life. Unsure about how entries are posted so here's one from me. As a first attempt at a mono, on a Monday, I thought about Still ... life goes on ... or Still Life in the old dog yet .... but nothing quite fitted. So here's a picture of the fruits of my labour today. A strangely satisfying wood pile, the beginings of the heating for next year. What the pile doesn't show are the shelving, wardrobes, tables, barge boards, pallets, window frames, soffits and other wood products making up the bulk of the pile ... we are the grateful beneficiaries of other people's rubbish.
