Didier Bression sports an inner-tube titfer at a Tour de France hat contest in Scalby. A peloton of visitors from Scalby’s and Newby’s French twin town, Pornic, took on their hosts in a cycling-themed fancy-hat competition. It was timed to coincide with the fervour enveloping Yorkshire over the Tour de France Grand Depart.
