American Band, Stirling Castle

We spent the morning at Stirling Castle on this the 700th Anniversary of the Battle of Bannockburn, one of the main reasons for which was Edward the Seconds attempt to retake the castle from the Scots.
Edward of course was defeated and the battle became a symbol of Scotland's independent heritage.
Today Stirling Castle is a top attraction for tourists from around the world and this morning there were French and German, Chinese and Japanese, American and Canadian visitors.
This colourfully attired band playing beneath the ramparts was from Dunedin High School in Florida.
