Verona

Decided on a last minute trip to Verona as its been the one place I've been meaning to visit the entire semester and never got around to. Its absolutely beautiful, and of course a lot more touristy than Milan. A friend from Edinburgh is studying there so also had my own tour guide which is always fun, although pretty much saw the entire city in one morning so spent the rest of the day in various bars... Its an interesting place really, it must be one of the few cities in the world which is famous for a fictional reasons (i.e. Romeo and Juliet), the most popular attraction is 'Juliet's' balcony, but surely its just a balcony that someone has pointed to and gone 'Yes...sure...that's where Juliet lived...'?
