Banksia on the Street

I think this is a Banksia integrifolia or Coastal Banksia. I normally take my little compact camera when I walk the streets and today I grabbed this shot when walking down the street. The owner of the house related to this exhibit arrived whilst I was taking the photo but we unfortunately didn't connect. One of the things I value about taking photos in the neighbourhood is connecting with people. It didn't happen with this one but I still like the image.

Having said all this I really like Banksias, especially the seed pods, they seem to have an almost human face about them.
