Still standing!

Well we wanted rain and we got it! Well some, anyway. It's rained lightly all day here and we got some planting done and got pretty wet too. So it's upload the Blip and off for a warm bath and a cuppa!

Rather an emergency Blip, but I'm glad we carefully staked these delphiniums or they would probably have been on the ground by now with this light, sticky rain! They were grown from seed from Delphinium speciosum growing at the Chelsea Physic Garden, but could well be a hybrid. Whatever they are, they're a lot slimmer and less flamboyant than the usual big-headed cultivars!
