The Tern project

The first really nice day for days on end. So we upped and sped down to the promenade to walk the dog and enjoy the sunshine. This area has numerous of these "effigies" of the Tern, hither and thither, on railings and around the Stone Jetty, also a number of lead sculptured Cormorants which stand out, sited on large rocks, a very pleasant area to enjoy the sunshine in fact. Lucky too, because as we landed back home at noon the sun departed and it became very dull. There was a slight swell on as you can see, the tide rolling in quite fast.
