Summer solstice - Reykjavik

Where else to go to watch the sunset when you're in Reykjavik than Solfar, the sun voyager. Even if the sun set behind all the clouds, we were there in spirit. As we couldn't catch the sun setting behind Solfar, I chose the symmetrical composition here. This was taken at about 12.10am

Great group, great trip, great memories (as was last year - and the year before). I won't be running an Iceland trip for a couple of years, as next year I've been invited to run a two week Mongolia trip, which sounds fascinating. So perhaps Mongolia / Iceland will work on alternate years.
