Almost Spring

Young Boo and I went to feed the ducks at our local lake, that seems rather to grand a word for it, but it's much bigger than a pond! Is there a word for a body of water that's bigger than a pond but not quite a lake ??

Anyway it's a really fab place near our home.

The two resident swans always muscle in and hog the bread, to I make then pose for the camera!
The sea gulls always want to show off every time I get the camera out too for some reason.
