Oxford Gosling: Flapping

Drippier in large ("L").

I had to go back to Oxford for a meeting today, so swung by the river on my way back to see how the Oxford gosling was getting along! It was getting along adorably (of course), and today was the first time that I've seen it flapping with intent (i.e. strengthening its flight muscles, and looking powerful). I chose this one for my blip because of the water running off its feathers.

I've uploaded others shots of this gosling (cuter ones even). They're right from here.
Highlights:
Just floating...
Portrait (with beaded beak)
Asking its father for permission to...?
Family flotilla in formation
Flapping (from further away)
