Galahs in the Mist

It was pretty foggy up our way this morning as you can see by the image. The birds were perched in a tree not 10 meters from our window.

And the one making all the ruckus is the female, the one in the front.

You can tell the difference very easily by their eye colour. The female has a red iris, and the males a very dark brown iris. They mate for life.

And a prettier name is the rose-breasted cockatoo.
