laurie has had a couple of settling in days for the pre-school he's going to start after the summer. he hadn't been too keen up until now. he's quite a shy wee boy, although is as boisterous as they get when he's comfortable in a situation. his first visit was fine as he was just left to play, but on the 2nd visit they were trying to get him to join in with songs etc, which was met with stony-faced resistance! i know he'll be fine as long he isn't pushed into anything, and they have said that i can stay with him as long as it takes for him to settle in which is great. anyway, the torturous rendition of heads, shoulders, knees and toes doesn't seem to have put him off as he's quite excited about starting in august.
