Grecia vs Costa do Marfim

Here we were - my first experience of Copa do Mundo or Fifa World Cup! A saw two other matches as well, of which he placed Gana vs Alemania (Ghana - Germany) into the top ten as to the quality of play.

But as you can see I had some time to look around the stadium; the quality of this match was pretty low, even if both teams had a lot on stake. In the end Grecia won through a penalty shot.

The atmosphere both before and after the the match was quite thrilling, though. The fans were all dressed creatively in the colours of their teams with face paints, wigs etc.

It was abeautiful evening in Fortaleza all in all - 32 degrees in the afternoon, but during the match the sun set with magnificent colours.

After the match we joined the fan bus transportation back to the center and went for an excellent calamaroe (tiger prawn) dinner.

Had an early morning wake-up so the evening was pretty short with a farewell caipirinha to Fortaleza as a dessert .
