No Swans Today - But A Cygnet

When England does summer properly, you can't beat lazing in a pub garden alongside a river. The pace of life slows, and there's nothing more challenging to do than watch the dragonflies dancing and smile at the antics of the ducks.

This stretch of the River Nene is home to plenty of swans yet none were out and about this lunchtime. Instead, this charming narrow boat 'The Cygnet' slipped past, skipper and dog on board. There's a Scottish Saltire flying at its bows - perhaps the captain's rooting for Andy Murray at Wimbledon.

Back home to work and a bit of Wimbledon in the background - until more football!
