Butter Cup

Part of our home school thing is to learn the Flowers and the berries, what's what, how they work and how they taste.

I am informed by my student that these lovely little buttercups that are so plentiful on the side of the trail, and have dewy eyed cows named are in fact deadly to cows.

So we learn about irony too as my childhood image of cow and flower with the wonderfully warm sounding name are shattered by the fact that the are instant death to cows, and people don't do too well on them either.

But never the less, they are pretty.
