Harbour

There is something quite divine about a harbour. It is a place of refuge, a calm from the storm, a place to rest when all around is mad.

The harbour at St Ives is exceptionally lovely, both when the tide is in and it's clear fish filled waters lap up to the port walls, as well as when the sea sits faraway making a walk around the head to the blissful Porthminster beach possible.

MCC & I wandered around for ages, me clicking away and humming happily, her playing with sand and puddles.

I should add to balance our loveliness that at lunch she was extremely ill and I had to leave CC to tidy up as I carried madam up the hill where, after several more ill stops, we fell into the house.

I must get back to that harbour soon....
