New Rower!

Backblipping because the internet was out all day wed! Hope to get this in before it happens again! grr.. (Not all bad tho as there was no instagramming, texting, gaming or netflixing for the guys —:-) ) A beautiful warm day -we spent a lot of time on the water — A thrill for me to take Niklas out for a first “real” row in the alden - he’s a natural and by far the easiest, fastest learning “student” I’ve ever had in this boat (and there have been many!) He’s got the body for this sport -says maybe basketball and rowing will be his things” AND, he also thought it was great fun!! Yea!!! We’ll do more!
Oskar practiced in the inflatable - he has the touch! - and then Nik drove us in the tin boat to the other end of the island for some time on a basketball sport court there, ice cream cones on the way back. And then there was still time for a swim on the beach ….. whew,….. Busy busy but I wouldn't trade any of this precious time!
