Cuckoo? He was !

This charming cuckoo was in residence near our caravan, he sang merrily all day & night, and seemed to love singing in the rain!
He had a funny song containing an extra "cuck" so he sang "cuckcuckoo" it was most endearing.
They are one of my favourite birds, sadly they are declining, probably due to problems in their wintering grounds and a loss of host species in the uk.
