Life with The Pinks

Butterfly

Day 7 of the POX. Master Pink is so much better but the pesky pox won't go! I think Master Pink will be going back on Monday rather than this week. He will miss his sharing assembly. :(

When Miss Pink came home from school the mini pinks had ice lollies in the garden. We saw this beautiful butterfly fluttering around the same spot in the garden. She seemed particularly attracted to Master Pink's broccoli plants. We wondered if she was going to lay eggs on them, but Miss Pink who has been learning about mini beasts at school said " they usually lay their eggs under the leaves Mummy, then the predators can't get the babies. And that's also why some butterflies have eyes under their wings, to scare the predators away." Love my little butterfly expert.
