Boundary Dwellers

Framed

The Edwardian(?) pavilion at Heriot's sports ground on Ferry Rd, framed by the link fencing on the all-weather pitch on the corner by the cycle path.

Heriot's was founded to provide an education to 'faitherless bairns' in the city. I'm not sure the said bairns' absent or dead faithers would have been tailors or labourers or servants. Today, widows and widowers who need help can get full remission of fees.

20% of Edinburgh schoolchildren attend private schools (the Scottish average is 4%).
