The other way

Apparently this was day 13 of the Commonwealth Games' Queen's Baton Relay that saw it carried through Fife starting in Dunfermline and ending up in St Andrews.
The baton relay passed through Kinghorn late this morning and it was carried down to the lifeboat station, taken aboard the lifeboat and set sail for Kirkcaldy harbour to continue its journey along the East Neuk of Fife to St Andrews.

Not that I was too excited about it, but it did get us out of the house for an hour or so and we did see the lifeboat at full throttle as it was launched and headed off to Kirkcaldy, even if they did turn the wrong way first before setting off in the correct direction. I think they were just showing off...
