Mint

The outside is scrubbed, but it's locked up and surrounded by new development. This is in San Francisco, the former Mint. For all its beautiful setting and good weather, the whole area S of Market Street is grubby, uncared for, and being frantically re developed. It's not clear that the development will improve the grunge factor at all.
