It's great finishing work early on a Friday - we changed hours a few years ago, and clocking out time is 12.45, makes the weekend that little bit longer.

The opportunity is therefore available to sit out and watch the feeders for a while (for example). The woodpeckers are becoming bolder, maybe because the chick is bigger and able to defend itself a little better. If I've done my homework properly, the young bird is on the left with the red cap...
