Short Toed Eagle!!!

Having returned from Cairngorms yesterday (8hrs). Today we went to East Sussex (5-6hrs each way) to see the short toed eagle which has taken up residence in Ashdown forest.
Surprisingly the traffic was not too bad and the m25 didn't make me want to hide under the seat!

We saw the bird flying and perched up very well :)

We decided to come home rather than have a night out in a grotty travelodge, we arrived home around 3am!! Ooh tired now!
