The department went for a fancy meal to celebrate the end of the year and a change in Head of Dept. We pushed the boat out and went to Gordon Ramsey's new pub The Narrow in Wapping. Food and ambience very good, but Stewart's lemon posset got the biggest thumbs up. I wonder if it was directly proportional to the amount of alcohol consumend, and indeed if that is why puddings always taste the best as they arrive at the end of the consumption?
