Kangaroo Paw

Yesterday, as part of the front garden project, we purchased and planted some plants including three Kangaroo Paw Anigozanthos sp. These plants occur naturally in south western West Australia but, like quite a few native plants, they have been hybridised; this on is called Bush Pearl. The buds are the most attractive part of the plant as the flowers are not really spectacular but birds enjoy them.
