Tubenoses

Yelkouan shearwater, Scopoli's shearwater and Storm petrel, the three species being studied for the Malta Seabird Project painted on life side wooden heads that John Borg from the Natural history museum kindly made for me. I've only met the Scopoli's and Yelkouan so far, I hope to get a chance to meet the Storm petrel soon!.... The Yelkouan I've spent a few nights waiting outside their nests in the cliffs for them to return from sea, they have lovely silky feathers.
