Cowboy B

The county fair is running for a couple of weeks so we took B and the Grandparents down to the fair grounds for the day. We had lot sf fun looking at the exhibits and crafts before heading on to the rides. Of course B managed to find 2 carousels, both of which were ridden on more than once, but I think they were trumped for the favourite by two things. He loved the petting zoo, which was full of hand reared rescue animals including, pigs, goats, deer, a cow, a llama and 2 wallabies which were incredibly soft.

Even the petting zoo paled when we saw that the local riding school had some ponies that you could have a ride on. B was beside himself when he saw the ponies and we decided to see if he would like to ride. We were told we could walk with him and hold him on, so we went but were not needed He sat on the pony, pick up the reigns and held onto to pommel and clicked his tongue for the horse to start, I think every was surprised at just how comfy he was on horseback. Roll on when he turns 3 and we can start lessons
